Our Extended Stay Program gives your puppy the confidence and manners they need to shine!

 

 Hello from Apricot Lane! We are excited to offer our Extended Stay Program for our Dec. and Jan. litters. We have offered this a few times in the past and we have loved the results! Our adoptive families have as well!

We believe the best way to set a puppy up for success is through time, patience, and positive early experiences. We know some of you are very busy and this will help you! By giving your puppy an extra month with us, you’re investing in their confidence, manners, and lifelong happiness.

From the moment our puppies are born, we focus on creating confident, well-adjusted companions through hands-on care and early learning. By 10 weeks, they’ve already begun to understand structure and trust. We do focus on socialization, house and crate training during their initial 10 weeks with us! Our Extended Stay Program simply builds on that foundation—focusing more deeply on house training, crate comfort, and real-world socialization.

 

This program is not for everyone! Some like to do their own training or already have an established trainer they have used previously. We totally understand! Every litter we have we receive requests to keep puppies for extra time and training. This is why we created this program...and we LOVE to see puppies grow and learn!

This program is perfect for families who want to start with a calmer, more confident puppy who already has a head start in manners and structure—but it’s not meant to replace the important bonding and training that continue once your puppy joins your home.

 

 

*****Extended Stay Training Program Highlights*****

 

Age Range: Begins after 10 weeks of age
Duration: Approximately 4 additional weeks

 

Focus Areas:

 

  • House Training: Establishing potty routines, consistent schedules, and outdoor potty habits.

  • Crate Training: Creating comfort and calm with the crate for restful nights and easy transitions.

  • Socialization: Continued exposure to people, sounds, textures, and gentle daily experiences that build confidence.

  • Obedience Foundations: Name recognition, leash introduction, and simple commands such as sit & come.

  • Confidence Building: Encouraging curiosity and composure in new situations to prepare your puppy for family life.

  • FULLY VACCINATED! Three boosters, Bordatella and Rabies.

  • First puppy groom from a professional groomer.

    This program is $3,500
